Meeting Mickey in California Adventure

Good morning! I have a 2 year old who is obsessed with Mickey & Minnie Mouse and Cars. We are going to be in LA for 1 day only and I think that day is best spent at California Adventure for Cars Land. Is it possible for him to meet Mickey and Minnie in CA as well? Where do they hang out usually? Thanks in advance for your help!

We were in the parks last week, Mickey has a meet & greet in the paradise Pier area
next to Ariel's Grotto. Minnie's meet & greet can be found in Condor Flats.

Like the PP said, Mickey is at Paradise Pier, by Ariel's Grotto. He is usually dressed up with a sailor hat and blazer.

You will for sure find them, but not in there regular outfit.

My son is the same. We also met Mickey dressed up as a sailor in the afternoon In DCA. He's located right next to the Cove bar.

What are the wait times like for Mickey at DCA? Is he usually out often?

Compared to his house over in Toontown, wait times for Mickey at DCA are much more manageable. I don't think I've ever seen the line more than 20-30 min long.

Is Minnie in Condor Flats a seasonal thing? We met her there in May 2011, then just saw the M&G area empty (well, the plane was there) for the remaining trips we made with our APs. That is, until our May 2012 trip, and then she was there again.

We have seen him near condor flats and in front of the monster's ride in Hollywood (But there was a little show there that he was in). I am pretty sure that show isn't around anymore.

It was paused for a while during the construction. I was looking for that M&G last November too and that's what the CMs told me.

They were out around the circle at the end of BVS when we were there last weekend. Only Goofy was out first thing in the morning, and then when we next passed by that area (probably 2ish), Mickey was also out. Both in old-timey outfits with cute hats.

We were there on media preview day last week right when the park opened. We were surprised to see Mickey hanging out at the end of Buena Vista Street, and everyone was walking right by him - no one was even waving!

We totally stopped for some photos, and they'll definitely be on our xmas card this year! Their loss I guess!

Mickey is now on Burna Vista Street, as are Chip and Dale and Goofy. Their old locations are now used for other characters.

Also, the Dancing with Disney "show" in the old Millonare building has some very rare characters.

maybe im just tired but i looked all over for where it said donald would be at PP....

I was glad that at least we got him all to ourselves for a few minutes. It was insane!
