My youngest DD has expressed a preference for Superhero training, rather than Jedi training, and says that she would like to at least meet Black Widow. Any advice on how I should make this happen on our relaxed/no stress trip? We do have two days at DCA, but want to spend most of the afternoon at the hotel. Is it a madhouse to sign up for training? Are the meet-and-greet appearances pretty well scheduled or random?

From what I witnessed it's really not that popular. We had a CM practically beg us to participate. This was fairly early in the morning on a Tuesday so that may have made a difference. Hopefully someone who has actually done it will chime in. There should be a schedule in the app as far as when they do these.

We signed up our DD at about 10:30 (8am) opening and had our pick of times. When we checked back in for our time, the latest two times were still available. The show is cute and she enjoyed doing it. They do reserve the front two rows of seating for one person per child doing the show, which is nice.

We hung around that area for a little bit after the show - used the restriom, etc) and got in the last line of the day to meet Black Widow. Line was very organized and moved quickly.

ETA: I don't know about how scheduled the meet & greet is. We saw her drive through and got in line. Definitely ask a cast member when you sign up that morning. The meet & greet does end before the last few shows though.

The Black Widow meet is very scheduled. You'll find her times on the entertainment guide. As long as you are in the area at the scheduled time, I don't think you'll have an issue catching her.
