Meeting at SSR?

What day and time again is the weekly member meeting at SSR?

We are fairly new to DVC and I am wondering what exactly are the weekly member meetings. We will be checking out of SSR on Wed. June 22 but we will be staying in the Oralndo area yet and I am wondering if it would be worth it to try and get to the member meeting.

We attended the meeting in December and found it to be very informative. They spent some time talking about different DVC options and resorts, gave a nice presentation on the DL 50th celebration (which included a surprising amount of detail that I hadn't read elsewhere at the time), and also had a guest speaker from the spa to talk about some of their services.

We received trading pins as we arrived and bottled water was available. As we departed they were passing out DVC static cling windows stickers to all. And there were a number of nice door prizes handed out during the meeting to those who answered questions correctly.

The meeting was very light on sales (they weren't openly trying to push more points), and it lasted almost exactly an hour. They have the model rooms at SSR open after the meeting if you've never had a chance to tour them. You get to see a lockoff 2B (Studio + 1B) and a really nice Grand Villa.

If you can fit it comfortably in your schedule, I would definitely recommend attending. On our May trip I scheduled PS at Chef Mickey's for 5pm on Wednesday. After realizing that it conflicted with the meeting time, I tried to change our PS but couldn't. Under those circumstances, I had no regrets about missing the meeting. But, if you don't mind taking a break from the parks for that period, or want to make dinner plans at DTD one night, I would try to include the meeting in your agenda if possible.
