Meeting a member of the Dis Unplugged at the D23 Expo, 2017

What are my chances? I know they have a booth at the expo but am really hoping to shake their hands and congratulate their amazing work and buy some awesome merchandise as well. Any suggestions for this wish?

I didn't go last time but if I remember correctly someone from the team was at the booth at all times.

They did a lot of filming last time and it was from their booth - @Teleclashter led things (and did an amazing job juggling things). not sure how much time in between filming and attending the sessions they have for shaking hands and kissing babies but I am sure you will at least be able to see some of them

There are plans in the works for Dreams Unlimited to have a booth at the show. No word on who would be staffing the booth.

It's too early to discuss any plans, but I can say that there SHOULD be plenty of members from the team, potentially with a booth. We do run around a lot, but we will always make time to chat even for a couple minutes with anyone that manages to track us down!

I know I spoke with someone in 2015. I wasn't watching the podcast yet and wasn't as active here so kind of just stopped by while I was on the floor. The team was super nice and I believe Dreams gave out pins that year (may have been someone else memory is fuzzy on who the stitch pin came from). I just remember everyone with Dreams Unlimited and Dis who I talked with were so nice. I was talking to them about how my fiance was back at the room because he was a little overwhelmed with everything and they told me to take some magic band covers back for him and try to cheer him up. I thought it was sweet. We also chatted about differences in DL and WDW.

Tracey only gets half credit. Nancy took it in her car and stored it at her house until Michael could pick it up.

Theme Park Connection, the awesome store here in Orlando and on line, was selling the chair at the D23 convention.

John bought it for our booth. It was a HUGE hit.

Michael asked about the chair and bought it from John.

I believe Tracey and Tom right (will deny i EVER said that) about Nancy helping Michael get the chair to his home.
