Ok, I didn't see another post about this, sorry if there is already one... My DH and I just got back from seeing this in the theater and boy, what a disappointment. We were looking forward to seeing it, because to us it looked really funny. Ok, no judgement. It just looked really goofy and we were up for a laugh. After seeing the previews there looked like there were going to be a lot of parodies. The movie ended and we looked at each other and said "what?" Half the stuff they showed in the previews wasn't even in the movie. when we saw the credits of actors playing the lookalikes at the end it looks like there were a lot of parts that were cut.

Oh, and our movie started at 12:15. We had 5 previews and we left the theater at 1:39. Glad we spent the money.....

No judgement here! I like really stupid comedies sometimes. I laughed way too hard during "Date Movie", I'll admit it! Did you see that?

Is this movie appropriate for pre-teens? My DS11 wants to see it this weekend with another friend & his mom. We do often let him see PG-13 depending on the content, but from reading the reviews, it seems a little raunchy.

It's definitely suggestive and a little raunchy, but if you know of that going into it, then maybe that's ok. My nephew is 11 and my sister would probably let him see this...

Yes! That was so funny!! And Epic movie too. Did you see that one. So funny!!

I can't believe it was that short either. Its one thing to be a bad movie but for it to be bad and short and cost an arm and a leg. No wonder I hardly ever go to movies anymore but this is one I wanted to see. I think I will wait for it to come out on DVD.

I love a good parody, but so many of them recently have seemed really bad. How was Epic Movie?

Nothing beats the old Mel Brooks parodies like Men in Tigths or Blazing Saddles.
