Cool When I finally get the nerve to book a solo which is looking good . I think I'll be going Feb 1st for 6 nights , which should make it to the 7th, I plan to have a leisurely vacation this time.

Ya know, it just depends. I've been there in Feb, and it's been 95 degrees, but I've also been in Feb when it's only in the 40's. I guess if you're swimming in a heated pool, it doesn't matter until you get out and freeze your tail off if it's cold

Hey Everybody! It is soooo hard to keep up with you all . . .

I just wanted to let you know that in September, my dates are the same (9/9 - 9/14) but I will be staying at Animal Kimgdom Villas. I've also booked another trip for December 11-15th at AKV also.

So I hope to meet alot of DISers this year! I can't wait for September to get here!

TEminnie, I would love to go in early Feb, but we always seem to get alot snow then. If you cant find anyone to go with you, go anyway! That's what I'm doing in Sept. for the first time!

And Rosie us Brits would definately be swimming in February wouldn't we I can remember going to Italy one year and my family were all swimming in the sea and an Italian couple walked along the beach in fur coats

When I lived in CT, we went to a Rhode Island beach in July--the water was freezing---probably like 60 degrees or something--and people were splashing around like it was 90! We just walked along the beach!

Miz Diz, you can just about tell someone's age if their name is Linda. It was the most popular name for about five years during the late 40's early 50's. I am willing to bet that you can not go much of anywhere in the US, at least, and holler the name and not get one response and probably more.

I met a little girl from a Spanish speaking country last year and used up my scant knowledge of the language and the thing that she was most impressed with was the fact that I was able to tell her that she was beautiful. Linda is Spanish for beautiful. Hope they do not decide to sue my parents for false advertising.

TEminnie, congrats on being a 'veteran'. Soon you will be 'lifers' like many of the others.

Englishrose, I am shocked that you do not have a tag. I am more shocked that I do not as I know I have said many embarrassing things and figured that is what they would tag me with one of these fine days. Maybe they are waiting to find something suitably special for someone such as yourself??

I have been busy with all my kids as it is the end of school so I have not been around as much as usual. Tomorrow is the awards program so I have to be there to cheer on my grandson and my other 'kids'. I do so hope one, or more, of my readers win something. I have promised to throughly embarrass them with my cheers if they do.
