I have not done a TR, in ways I would like to, but my son really didn't have all that great of a time this trip.
I actually brought around my autograph book for any DISers that seen me to sign it. I didn't get two though I didn't spot any DISers, and I was looking! I had two CM confess they were on the DIS and one DISer find me... this is other than the planned meets OH, and I met one from the croc exchange and one from the fridge exchange.....

Jo I thought you might have said "What's the 11 plus" I've been in the states since 1971, they had just gone decimal.. now I am really showing my age . I still convert back to pounds, shillings and pence!!

Shucks, darn, fiddle de dee!!! I just spent some time trying to find the post where the lady bragged about meeting English Rose and could not. I knew I should have marked it when I read it but it never occured to me that ER (notice the initials???) would not have seen it herself.

In sincere apology for my failure I am going to attempt to post a picture of me and MY shirt. Hope it works, never has before. lol

Mickey Fan, I am sorry to hear that your trip was not all that you had hoped for. Did something happen to your son to make him unhappy? I deal with a large, very large child that I have to worry about myself. It is harder when they are not cute.

O.k. everyone I need help planning next years vacation. My dd is going to New York for her vacation and my ds and I need a place to go for ours. He will be 41/2 at the time that we go and we are flexable about what dates next summer we go. I want to go to WDW with ds but dd said no because she likes WDW. Would it be so awful to go with out her since she is going to be in NY having fun? So what is all of your 2 cents on this.

Hey all....

I didn't see any of you while we were at WDW a few weeks ago, but I did run into one DIS'er, "englishrose" was her name on the DIS.

It was really funny because my DH would tease me saying that I wouldn't see anyone with the lanyard, but I did and went right over to her to say "hi". Funny thing because her family had been saying the same thing to her

So............if anyone sees Englishrose on the DIS, please tell here I said hi!

How did everyone else make out, did you all get to meet up?

boysmom5150, you are wonderful!!! I was beginning to think I were teched in the head. The main reason I did not copy it before was because I knew it was on this thread and English Rose is seldom at a loss for anything so I figured she would have done spotted it. (grin, can ya all tell I were an English Major??)

I am glad everyone liked my shirt. I had it specially made for me. You cannot see it but Goofy is doing a thing with his fingers. I will have to post a better picture of the shirt. It was a toss up, a flattering picture of ME or the shirt.

I am going to have another made up for this year as I was able to meet literally dozens of fellow DISers last year and have many pictures too!! I got awfully tired of washing that shirt over and over again though. My DIS shirt does not get as much attention as my DIS button does.

Hopefully this is a much better picture of THE shirt and you get the added bonus of meeting a fellow DISER to boot! We met at the POP Century food court during Free Dining last year.

I am sorry I cannot name the gal. She and another friend were there with their kids and she later said hi on the Boards. I fear I need a memory upgrade on myself.

Glad I was able to help...thats a 1st for me as usually I am the one looking for help.
Love the shirt and you look great in BOTH the pics. Did you have them made at home or in WDW if you dont mind me asking? My kids would love shirts made for them. I however am NO Martha Stewart so making them as some Dissers do is out of the question!!
You are lucky to have met so many dissers I was just there 2 weeks ago and saw NOONE other than my scheduled meet. Have a great nite.

Real DISers are often spotted in the places that the newbies do not know about. We do not hang out in long hot lines.

I just snagged a design and adapted it, took it to a local artist who does custom t shirts. I often have special t shirts and such made for presents. Fits my budget and gives folks a present that they are sure not to get a duplicate of.

The only thing I know how to draw is flies.

WOW 24 days long, Im jealous. We go often enough (2-3 times a year) but for only a week at a time. Glad someone was able to meet dissers. Hopefully I will have better luck in Oct.

Hey there! Yup, my DH has resigned himself to the same as far as the lanyard! When I go in October both my DD and her friend will each where one also! So much for everyone thinking I am totally crazy.

We did the adult trip this past trip and it was fabulous, gained about 10 pounds each There were actually 2 nights that we cancelled our ADR's as we were just too full!

Glad to hear that your trip was good. How many DISer's did you meet? I hadn't even thought at the time to take pictures, what was I thinking?

boysmom5150, I lied. Well, really I got confused. The last trip was 21 days and the one we have planned for Sept/Oct is 24 days, our personal best.

We have several folks around here who do those kinds of designs. The best thing to do is to hang around and watch them do a few things for other people. Some are better than others. I would think that a person could trace a design and use those fabric painting pens to do their own also.

Not sure that my lanyard will show up on my lime green shirts so I am thinking I will put it on my purse handle.

If you are there the very first part of Oct you might meet me. I will be at the concerts at EPCOT on the 1st and 2nd.

englishrose47, I have a friend who owns their own private air field right up the road from my house. How small is your plane???
