"There is just one moon and one golden sun and a smile means friendship to everyone. There's so much that we share that it's time we're aware it's a small world after all" :rolleyes1  :dance3: :cheer2:

(did I get the job?)

BRAVO!!! I'll admit - I don't even know the lyrics beyond "It's a small world after all.... it's asmall, small world"!

I'm 21 days too, I will have my TFW buttons that I just ordered from cafepress and LGMH that I got from HD. I have 2 lime green shirts, so I may be wearing lime too if we cross paths.

Well, I look horrid in lime green, so the LGMHs are about all I can do, lol! I just switched from All Star Sports to Pop Century tonight -- and now, I can't remember where everyone else is -- although I THINK some of the rest of you are at Pop during my days there. Mrs. Short-Term Memory here, lol!

I'll be on the lookout for you, puggymom!!!

No way that's where I am now, where abouts? I'm originally from near Lowestoft (just been for a walk along the beach!) and DH is from Wymondham near Norwich. Hey V it is a small world....... :lmao:

Asked Mum and she can remember us being called Limeys but thought it was the Australians who called us that :confused3

It is indeed a Small World. I was once on a thread and a couple of us noted that we were in the same state (no, not confusion) and one lady started pm ing me. We exchanged a bit of info and discovered that she worked in the tiny town that I live in AND she worked with some of the same people I did. :confused3

After a couple of days she thought it might be nice to meet. Sure, next time you are in town was my reply. I am in town right now she typed back. Where??? At the library. :surfweb:

Ummm, look out the back window and wave as I live behind the library.

Goes to show that we must always behave cause we just never know who is watching and who we might meet along the way.

My life is better for knowing this nice neighbor and now friend who I might never have known except for our common love of the Mouse.::MickeyMo

Slightly Goofy :goofy:

Hi Jo From Bury St Edmunds Know Lowestoft and Wymondham well!! As for the Limeys how I understand it dates to the Seafaring days when scurvy abounded and the British sailrs discovered eating Limes prevented it.. Hence the Limeys!!

Blow me down if I did not already know about scurvy and such. :rotfl2:

DisneyJo, I especially enjoy meeting English folks as I am a great reader of English history and have great respect for the English in general. :cheer2:

I can Divorced >>Catherine of Arragon
Beheaded >> Ann Boleyn
Died >> Jane Seymour
Divorced >> Ann of Cleves
Beheaded >>Catherine Howard
Survived >>Catherine Parr .:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

EnglishRose, you show off you. :lmao: The first wife died in prison cause she was stubborn and wanted to protect her daughter's rights (the future Queen Elizabeth)

Poor Jane died giving birth, Anne was too ugly but was very well behaved and took herself off to a nunnery, better than bedding or beheading to my way of thinking, Parr was the smartest of all as well as lucky cause she got him when he needed a nursemaid more than a plaything. If only she had been smarter in her choice of a later mate she would have had a truly 'happy ever after ending".

The other two were given far more credit than was due for extra cirricular activities. Between the cramped quarters, endless servants as well as vast amounts of clothing it seems might near impossible to have done some of what they were accused of doing let alone with whom. :lmao:

DisneyJo, always wear clean underwear too. You jest never know. :)

Slightly Goofy :goofy: who is hoping to book Free Dining from 09/09-10/03 tomorrow!! No sleep tonight.

Sorry to correct you Goofy but Mary was Catherine of Arragons daughter Elizabeth was Anne Boleyn's and dear obliging Jane had the only son. All 3 were King/Queens!!History major NO! Nora Loft's avid reader yes!!

I ordered 2 TFW buttons from cafepress:thumbsup2 , thanks for posting the link Goofybaby.

Aww, no problem! Glad I could help. The more buttons & lanyards & lime green baggallinis everyone has, the better! :teeth:

EnglishRose, I done know better than that. Please do not hold Jean Plaidy responsible for my absentminded post. That is what I get for typing fast and thinking slowly. :goodvibes

Elizabeth regretably put Mary to death as she kept being used to cause problems and was a threat to the throne. (bet some of our present day politicians would like to do that also)

Jane died a few days after giving birth to Edward who was a sickly child and died young.

Off to my Easter dinner now, not that I can actually eat anything if I want to pass my weigh in on Tuesday though.
