I used the toll free number and somewhere in the middle of the first hour realized that I now have an all inclusive plan and could have called the other number which might have been quicker. Do you have a toll free number to call or do you have to pay for the wait? Your travel agent could not have done it for you via fax?

We book direct with Virgin as it's cheaper so no travel agent, I made 3 calls totalling about 30 mins and the bill only came to $3 I was really surprised! I need to think of one more so will have to call again!

Chocolate isn't a food group , I always thought it must be one of your 5 a day as it's made from the fruit of the coco tree

Hi again Early May TFW members! Some of you may recall I'd hoped to get a meet together sometime that first week of May, but it's not looking good from my end. I'm now traveling with friends, in addition to my family, and an infant, so I'm trying to keep our schedules as flexible as possible.

If anyone else gets a meet together, I'll do my Limest to get there, though!

Meanwhile, here's my planned itninerary - who knows? Maybe some of us have some matching days/parks/restaurants?

5/1: MK morning - lunch (late arrival - maybe 10-10:30a)
AKL afternoon
Dinner @ Boma

5/2: MGM morning & afternoon
Lunch @ Hollywood & Vine
Dinner @ Ohana

5/3: Typhoon Lagoon morning & early afternoon
Girls' Night! (location TBD)

5/4: MK morning & early afternoon
Dinner @ Concourse Steakhouse

5/5: EP morning & afternoon
Lunch @ Biergarten

5/6: MK morning - 11a
Lunch @ Garden Grill
EP afternoon - evening

sorul82, My grandson a nerd? Each summer he requests tutoring. Last year it was algebra. This year he wants to learn how to cook, gourmet, read the classics and quantum physics. He is 9. BTW, I bought him a computer math program. The rest I can cover. He is also a sports star, did not get that from ME.

puggymom, I am so jealous about you all being together at the POP I am almost tempted to jump on a plane for a quick weekend. I have not had a day off in over 35 years. I think I am overdue.

Back to planning how many chocolate desserts I can fit in this trip. Puck's chocolate flourless cake has to be the very best. Almost good enough for me to pay OP. ALMOST.

Oh yeah... I know how that is. I work at a paid job full time, plus I am in college full time. I have 3 kids with extra-curricular activities going on simultaneoulsy. And DH has cancer. But I'm the only person in our household who can recognize an overflowing trash can

Your name says a lot about how you cope with the life that you have. Your family is lucky as I bet you are too.

While I might not able to go on a vacation alone I do have a husband who will follow me anywhere I choose to drive him. If only he would behave once I get him there.

Too funny! I totally forgot you'd posted your itinerary. I used a combination UG Touring Plans/TGM/get DS as much MK time as possible method to plan! Of course, now that I've got it all worked out, DS announces he wants to go to AK. We'll see....

Found this thread by following a thread that followed a thread from Lauralee131's trip reports (if you haven't read them, you need to - NOW! She's absolutely hysterical ! Her DysFUNctional trip with her DBIL and DSIL should be mandatory reading for anyone considering traveling with extended family. In fact, I think the DISboards should have a whole CATEGORY dedicated to just who you are planning to travel with and make her TR a Sticky)

I also just found UtahMama's and PrincessV's TRs and can't wait to get back to them! I don't know when I'm going to find time to work!

Anyway, after calling my sister back and telling her that we'd decided to tour the middle east instead of going to WDW in May and if she was still interested in joining us on vacation I'd be happy to look into pricing that trip for her (see Lauralee131, you've saved yet another family vacation!), I went online and ordered my lime green baggallini, high-tailed it to Home Depot for some paint samples and signed us up for a croc. bounce: Freddie will be ours at the end of May! Yay!)

Yesterday I was in a Coach outlet and picked up a lime green keychain and lime green business card case (I needed a new one! REALLY I did! ) but stopped myself short at the $395 lime green messenger bag. OK, so, maybe I do still have one little sane bone left in my body.

We spent Easter with our 4 DDs, DSIL and DGS and DGD. The next time I'll get to see them all again will be our surprise trip to visit with the mouse, but yesterday morning I managed to teach both DGKs the hand gestures they'll need when we get there. (They just don't have a clue yet WHY!)

Yes, both DH and DSIL think I've lost it, but I think my oldest DD (mother to DGS 8 and DGD 11) may be up for taking portraits of Freddie.
