momsoftwins , what a cute gesture but how much more lovely it would have been with a LGM, or something, with the person's name on it. I had decorated my door and window and came home to many nice surprises many nights but most of the time I had absolutely no idea who had been by. I have made up a collection of LGM's and put my name and the dates of my current trip on them so that I can leave them here and there. I have so many folks I would love to thank for so many things from September and no way to do it. THANK YOU!!!

MizDiz, thanks for the update. Looks like we will have several folks staying at OUR hotel this trip. Maybe we need a Sports Meet?

I think its unoffical but a bunch of Disers are getting together over where the dueling painos guys (Jellyrolls?) are playing across from Beaches n cream on Sunday Dec. 9th so Mike and I are going over there to watch them and meet up with Towncrier and others that I haven't met yet so it should be a great time.

I am on the Jellyrolls thread and had signed up to go but am having second thoughts because of the smoke. Tom has emphysema and I have COPD and I do not want to get sick at DW. It would not be so bad if it were not the first night of our trip. Maybe someone will have another meet somewhere.

Towncrier needs a ride back to the resort afterward. I had said I could but if I am not there I cannot. He will be at Sports.

The darned lawnmower decided to give me some problems so it slowed me down a bit. I got it up and running but am going to have to take it apart and clean it up next spring. I do not like doing things that I am not that good at.

Pooh, I have been told that bars are exempt that as such Jellyrolls will be as smoky, if not more, than it used to be. If it is non smoking I would love to come by.

Heck, if you guys and Towncrier are going to be stranded there maybe I should just swing by after we get done at the Poly that night any way??

There is a bus but going all the way down to DTD and then back to the resort when it is only a mile or three up the road seems a bit of a burden.

Let me do some checking on the smoking situation and if possible we will change our plans and come to Jellyrolls. Even deaf me can hear the music there.

Poor YOU, had to hand the keys to Mike to mow?? Next thing you know you will be in the same shape as me. I mowed and had to come in and fix dinner and then go back out and I will also be the one to either fix the darned lawnmower or find the money to buy a new one. It is nothing new, has always been thus. Be careful there, don't want you straining yourself, you lucky gal you.

Jellyrolls is indeed exempt from the non-smoking policy at WDW. Don't worry about the ride back to the resort. KristaTX has graciously offered to take us back to All Star Sports, so you are off the hook. I'm sure that we'll find a way back after Jellyrolls.

In the past, some people who aren't able to cope with the smoke have simply spent the evening sitting on the benches outside of Jellyrolls. We won't be getting there until after IllumiNations and (as I told Poohbear67), I can guarantee you that we won't stay until anywhere near closing time.

I can hardly believe that our trip is less than a couple of weeks away. I had better start looking for my DIS button and my lime green ribbons.

We have made plans to go over to the Poly to see Wishes and the EWP that night after I found out that they still had all that smoke but maybe we could park at BW and ride the bus over to MK to take the monorail and then come back and pick anyone up who needs a ride?

I am also available for quick grocery stops or to pick a few things up if that will help anyone.

What kind of DISer does not have their DIS pin and ribbons packed in their own special Disney suitcase? I thought higher of you TC.

I have my tip envelopes stuffed and decorated, my file with all pertinent info printed out and ready to go. Only thing left is to get all the Christmas stuff done, clean the house (very big house) clean and gas the car, pack the luggage and a few other items. No problem I have 11 days to do it all in.

I set up my own computers so I do not have to depend on anyone else, not that I could. The bad thing about doing things myself though is that I have no one else to blame if all goes awry.

I highly reccomend AVG free anti virus. I have used it for years and it updates daily which is better than anything you pay for. Never had a virus, crossing fingers, eyes and legs.
