Meet the Fockers! We're watching you...

TEminnie, seems as if some guys are mathmatical. They like to conform to the LOWEST common denominator. :lmao: It is the women who are attracted to those guys that make me wonder.

LurrrvtheDuck, I just plain cannot get worked up about a feller who is younger than my children. Heck, I never did like guys my own age when I were young. That is part of the reason why I would never marry again. The guys in the age range enough older than I am are in graveyards. :rotfl2:

I would prefer a "Beerbelly with a Brain" versus " a Tight Tush with a 'tude'. OMG, I am mature!!!

Hey when I visited that other park that shall not be named for Mardi Gras I took this pic:

:lmao: You can't walk 50 feet around here without seeing "git er done" on someones hat, shirt, arm, or pickup! Usually accompanied by the Confederate flag.

Now as for hot men, well mine are a little younger than y'alls.

:confused3 Had to ask my AE and her friend who that was. They said he was from "Smallville" Is that right??
He is cute--is he over 18?

You really deserve a tag for that! Of course, with your number of posts, you deserve a sympathy tag for anything!

 about the "git er done" thing where you live. Oddly enough here in Southern Florida you don't hear/see it that often. :confused3

Yes Tom Welling from Smallville and Jensen Ackles from Supernatural  . They're in my age range 30 & 29 though. :goodvibes

Now if I were to pick older men, then these are my picks:

Hugh Jackman

Julian McMahon

Yes, well s'late and I have confirmed that despite our love of Florida and the fact that it IS south of Georgia, it is not REALLY a southern state.
No sweet tea
No Git er done
No confederate flags in yards and pickups
No southern accents (mainly transplanted Yankees, I think)

course they do have Nascar and it seems to be popular...

Did I tell y'all what NASCAR stands for (just ignore if I've already said this or read it again cause it's still funny)

Yes, they are nice to look at whatever the age.

Ds said I had to pick Mater because that is his favorite. He is always playing tow truck and saying "Thanks Mater" as he tows off one more match box car.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: Oh I have to remember that Nascar slogan!

There's a house near where I live that has the confederate flag and the Florida flag proudly displayed in their yard.
I dated a guy who had a Florida Southern accent. There's a difference ya know.
Then of course there's the other Florida accent in the form of Spanish. :lmao:

Awwww. I would've voted for Mater, but Carlin beats our Larry the Cable Guy in which one I'd like to ride in. Mater was my favorite character in the movie though. :rotfl2: During the crane (cow) tipping scene.

TEminnie, I have sometimes wondered at my lack of tags but maybe it is cause I do not hang around in the right places with the right people or have not (yet) said anything embarrassing enough. Hard to believe that last one though. :lmao:

I am led to believe that the tag fairy hangs out only in the Community Boards. I don't go over there too much so I'll be stuck with these 2 that I got way back in 2003 forever.

Linda I got all 3 of mine from a Tag Fairy thread on the CB, I think it's a case of being in the right place at the right time! The TF does say she doesn't like being asked for tags though although bribes of chocolate have worked in the past :rotfl2:

Now I understand why I have no tags!!

I ain't a giving up my chocolate for nothing. I refuse to share it with my grandkids whom I love more than life itself so I am not likely to share with anyone else. :lmao:

I like the tag fairy any old way. She/he has my sense of humor. Warped and a bit 'off'.

Yes, my cousin lives in Jacksonville and is now married into a large Puerto Rican family--she and her kids speak great Spanish. She is from SC so she can speak "southern Spanish" too!

I don't have one either, and I'm sure I say funny and embarassing stuff all the time!

I wondered about yours--you will have to tell us your story. You've been DISing a long time!

Hmmmmmm.......maybe YOU'RE the tag fairy in disguise! Have we seen a picture of you?? Do you have little wings??

No big story. Back when begging the tag faerie was fashionable I begged and pleaded on the CB and was tagged with "Now a DISer of color" and the "Almost wishing my summer away ..." because that was in my siggie at the time. It wasn't too original but I was happy crappy with it!
Hmmmmmm.......maybe YOU'RE the tag fairy in disguise! Have we seen a picture of you?? Do you have little wings??
Yes, we have seen pics of Slightly Goofy, I think! Didn't she post pics with her and her slightly goofy shirt? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Disneyolic, thanks for noticing me althought I fear I am hard to miss, especially in my lime green, Slightly Goofy shirt, and great BIG smile!!

TEminnie, I agree that you say funny things often. Maybe the TF only notices folks if they bribe her/him with unlimited FP's and Mickey Bars?? Nah, our dear TF would not stoop to the level of politics.;)

I dissuaded my oldest gs from putting a Confederate flag on his vehicle by telling him the history of and why some folks are offended. Even though I believe that the war was fought more for keeping the states together and that Eli Whitney is the real ender of slavery with his wonderful invention I see no reason to wave something that hurts people's feelings especially my family members of color. JMO He still likes "Git 'er done" though. I have found that many of those who use that phrase do not actually 'Get 'er done' though. :rotfl2:

Here I am in all my Green Glory and I will be wearing this again in September!!

:lmao: Color me GREEN with envy for all youse guys who are going this year! Next year it's Disney or BUST and not Jo's bolder holders either!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :surfweb: (if I had a brain I'd be dangerous!)

Yes! I did remember your picture and I'm glad that my brain still is working at the ripe old age of 41! :rotfl2:

Yes, I remember seeing you now--but have we seen your back? Could be little wings back there!;)

Yes, I agree that I would not want to offend anyone. We have a local high school near here that went through a lot of trouble about 10 years ago as their nickname is "Rebels"--but they stated that since the school's name is "Patrick Henry" that it was referring to the Revolutionary War so they kept it. Not sure how they explained the Confederate flag painted on the school...:confused3

Speaking as a transplanted Northerner currently residing in West Central FL, AND a former resident of South FL (shout out to Kendall! :rotfl2: ), I concur, but only on the coasts. West coast = transplanted Mid-westerners, East coast = transplanted NE's. Exluding Orlando, Central FL is deep, deep South. Really deep. Trust me - I've gotten lost on a tiny highway somwhere between North Tampa and Jacksonville. Ne ne nere nere nere nere nere nere nere...:lmao:

Disneyolic, if you are looking for sympathy for your 'advanced' age you are not getting any from this almost 59 year old. :lmao:

PrincessV, it is my considered opinion that the ratio of Confederate flags and unemployment (by choice) are related. It is a state of mind and not at all what the flag was meant to convey. BTW, have you ever met a native Floridian? Do they exisit or did they run away because of the influx of transplants? Jest wonderin'.

WDWHeather, thank you! I am going to attempt to design another one for this next trip. The idea of trying to wash the one shirt 24 times during the trip boggles my mind. I have better things to do than laundry on vacation. ;)

TEminnie, I have often thought I would make a great Tag Fairy but alas I have not been called upon. No wings here and if you should ever see a halo  check carefully cause I am sure you will find tiny horns holding them aloft. Being a fan of words I am saddened by many words that cannot be used anymore because of negative connotations not intended. When I read classic books I am often reminded of that fact. Words, the longer and more obscure, love them!!:cheer2:

It is has been very dry here. I have to mow the lawn today. The grass has not grown but the weeds have. Definition of weeds, anything that grows easily. :dance3:
