I'm not an expert in characters, but I did want to bump this to the top so that the experts can chime in!

Don't know if you want this sort of info, but it can't hurt...

The princesses are going to be found either in the Princess Fantasy Faire area (long long line to meet them, and you are NOT guaranteed to meet any specific princess so make sure your niece knows this) or at Ariel's Grotto in DCA, a restaurant with character meals all day long. You *might* see Snow White outside the Animation Building, but I'm not sure I have seen her.

Buzz has a schedule over in Tomorrowland; check out the Entertainment Times Guide when you get there, to see when he's slated to be around.

I've seen Woody and Jessie over behind Big Thunder, but that was in September and December, both of which have holiday events over at Woody's ranch, so it makes sense they were there.

Alice and the Mad Hatter, I've seen inside the entrance of DL and over near the Teacups.

Saw Hook near Golden Dreams, but it was at Halloweentime when GD is called Golden Screams, and the villians were in the area anyway.

Jack Sparrow has a meet/greet spot at Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island (sorry, I gotta call it that every time) towards the back. You can ask CMs when he's scheduled to be there. I've also seen him roaming New Orleans Square, but he's HARD to stop for autographs when he's roaming. Note: he's a pirate, and he's allowed to act like one. If people give him attitude, I have seen him give an autograph book back, turn his back, and go on to the next guest. (and that was at his meet/greet spot! he flat-out ignores people screaming his name when he's roaming) So be nice to him. :flower3:

I've only seen Daisy at the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast at PCH Grill in PP.

We've met many of the mickey & co characters in Mickey's house in ToonTown.

And there ends my dubious knowledge of characters. :upsidedow

Bump!

I almost feel bad for the captain jack character! I was at city hall picking up some buttons, and there was a family complaining about how rude he was. Apparently their son tried to cut in line and was sent to the back of the line. When they got up to the front after 20 minutes, he refused to take a photo with them or sign anything for the young tweens behavior! The mom was furious, and the CM was trying to explain that that was part of his character "charm"

But for the princesses, your best bet is the fantasy faire or ariel's.

During the day, there are often a bunch of mickey's friends near the entrance :)

Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Chip & Dale make appearances throughout the day around the front entrance near the "Mr. Lincoln" attraction and in the courtyard near the flag pole.

Donald and Daisy are rare, but your best opportunity would be in ToonTown.

Koda and Kenai appear near Grizzly River Run in DCA.

I've seen Bert and Mary Poppins near the Fire Station several times..

And Cinderella and Woody at that Magic thing in DCA and I can't remember the name... But it's across from the Monster's Inc ride...

I've seen Donald several times at the front of Main Street, but it's usually first thing in the morning and I never stop. :)

We met Jessie from Toy Story 2 last Monday near BTMRR.

I've always noticed alot of different characters hanging out along that main street in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area of DCA, especially just outside the Animation building. Usually one or two at a time.

The only time I've ever seen Daisy was at one of the Halloween Treat parties at DCA.

And I actually ran into Donald once inside the lobby area of the Main Street Opera House. I was going in to see the 50 Magical Years movie. There were only a couple of people in line waiting to see him. Kind of seemed like maybe he was rewarding those people for coming inside to see the show! The place was otherwise pretty empty.

oh! I once saw the fairy godmother by the bridge at the castle one early afternoon :)

Ariel can also be found just past Astro Blasters (so if your back is to the hub and you are looking at Astro Blasters, it's towards the left).

Last Sept. we met Mr. & Mrs. Incredible (not together) in DCA near TOT, as well as Mulan! in front of the animation building. We met Pluto in front of the fire station, Buzz near Space Mtn. Ariel (with her fin) near the Astro Orbiter, Mickey in his house in Toon Town. DD and I had breakfast at Ariel's so we met most of the princesses there. We'll meet several more when we have breakfast with Minnie & Friends this Sun.!

Oh gosh, how could I forget Mr and Mrs Incredible?! We've seen them 2 or 3 times near the Aladdin theater in DCA, and Frozone once, and Sully twice.

I'm quite literally going to freak out if I ever see Sully.

My son isn't even 3, and he's going to be SO embarrassed. :rotfl:

Liiiiike...freak out in a good fan-girl way, or freak out in a "omg my worst nightmares are coming true" way? :rolleyes1

Maybe I'm going to rescind that offer I made to you in some other thread to come spend time with me/us one day on our May trip...pirate: :flower3:

Like freak out in a good fan-girl way.

As in "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S SULLY!!!!!"

I kind of did that the first time I went to DL and met Mickey. It was in his movie barn, and it was crowded and I wasn't paying attention, so I didn't realize I was going to meet him. (Stupid, I know.) We got in there and I kind of bugged, and DH still makes fun of me for it.
