can anyone tell me what this show is like? what kind of food is there, and how you sit, etc..
sounds like its really fun

I would like to hear about it too. Also, are there any coupons?

We went in December and my guys ages 11 and 13 loved it. You start of with soup followed by garlic bread. You then get ½ a roasted chicken breast, ½ baked potato and some ribs. For desert we got some sort of apple tart thing along with all the bear and soda we wanted. The food was OK, not best I ever had it but defiantly not bad considering its made for a large number of people. The amount of food we got was MORE then enough. You don’t get any utensils, but I was warned before and brought a set for everyone in my party with me. My boys can eat quite a bit but even they couldn’t finish everything on their plates. The show was very engaging and fun to watch.
We did have coupons from the Entertainment book I think it was buy one get one free if I remember correctly. My kids wanted to do it again in October on our return trip but we opted out as we are doing the Discover Cove instead. Hope this helps.

LOL .. cheater!!!

We went a few years ago and DD STILL talks about this as the highlight of her trip (it didn't hurt that the knight we were cheering for gave her his token - she was his "lady" for the evening - and he wasn't bad to look at :earseek: )

The show is fun and the jousting is really well done. They encourage you to cheer on your knight - people all over the hall were twirling their napkins and hooting and cheering the whole time. There are wizards and knights and horses - and some pretty good special effects.

You are seated in an indoor stadium. The tables are narrow and you only sit on one side. They line the edges of the stadium on tiers so you have a very clear view of the entire ground area no matter where you sit. When you get there, you are given a colored card that tells you which section of the stadium will be yours. They call you for seating by sections and you just file in in long lines and take your seats at the long tables.

There are all sorts of places to buy discounted tickets for this - we usually use mapleleaftickets.com because we have used them in the past and know they are legit.

One warning though - there is a pre-show area that is set up like a village fair - read that as "a REALLY tempting place to spend LOTS of money" especially for children.
