Medieval Times dinner in Buena Park

Has anybody been to the Medieval Times dinner in Buena Park or even any of the shows across the country? We're thinking of taking the kids and it'll be the first time for all of us. Our neighbor went and recommended it and thinks the kids will really like it.

The one in Buena Park is currently offering a back to school promotion but they also have a few upgrade packages. If anybody has been, I'd like to get your feedback on the show and also if the upgrade packages are worth it. It seems that they have 3 upgrade packages and the top level offers premium seating in the first two rows in the center section. Obviously, this sounds like really good seats but are the other seats that bad? This is basically a $20 upgrade per person.

The other seats aren't bad. But the premium stats are better. It's really fun to be in the center of everything. But all the other seats are good.

Years ago we sat in the middle section, I don't believe there were upgrade levels then. But it was still great seats.

We've been twice. The way the seating is arranged, there really are no "bad" seats. I personally don't think it's worth the $20/pp upgrade unless maybe you're celebrating something special. Whatever you choose, you'll have a blast!

It is a fun show, and the food is surprisingly good for what sounds like a basic chicken dinner. As for seating, I've sat in various locations and they were all fine, there are really no bad seats. If I were you I would skip the upgrade and save that money for possibly purchasing goodies while you are there, such as a professional photo they will take of your family, or the souvenirs in the gift shop.
