Medical Weight Loss money ????

My boss is doing the Medical Weight Loss program and has had great success. I am thinking about doing it too..

Has anyone ever tried this and if so how much did it cost? I can't really ask her the price. I weigh 190 and should be closer to 130. Hoping it is not too much money

yah that's right.,Medical weight loss program does to be effective of course with your disciplination.,please be reminded that too much and too little is not good.

I went for my appointment today and signed up. feeling very bad about the whole thing. I know it is working for my boss , but I have been over weight for so long I do not believe I ever won't be overweight for some reason.

oh well, I spent the money and will hope for the best.

The basics are these:

3 fruits/ 3 veggies/ 2.5 serving of protein and 3 starches per day plus 4 oz of milk and 3 of the clinics shakes or bars. They are high protien shakes. Also remove all excess salt from your diet. No seasonings on you meat or veggies.

I have lost 14.5 pounds so far. I started May 5th. The nurse said I should be below 150 before my August vacation Thanks for asking.

Don't have any idea about costs but I have always been skeptical. Sounds like you had a similar remorse; however, it also sounds like a simple and balanced plan. I know that folks who have been on it love it.

The bottom line is that it will work IF 1) you follow their plan - and it sounds like you are; and 2) have a way to live while maintaining a healthy balanced diet. Again sounds balanced to this point, take notes and learn how to incorporate into your future skinny life.

A year ago I did a medically supervised weight loss diet call "garcia weight loss." I lost about 60 pounds then started having gallbladder attacks. Ended up having the gallbladder removed. Unfortunately I regained the weight that I lost.

I had my gallbadder removed when I was 19, I am now 41. Not sure what your plan included. This one is about 1200-1400 calorie per day plus 3 days a week working out. 90% regular food and protein shakes that the clinic sells in between meals which really could be bought at local grocery store if you wanted. I just need the accountablity to someone other than myself to be successful.
