Bluestars, thanks for the info. It is hard to get any information from any resources on what may or may not be available to my son.
The OP should check with her insurance company to see if they offer the age extension like our BCBS did in '09 for adult children no longer enrolled in college. The main thing is to do something quickly before there is considered a gap in the coverage.
