I just had a friend who came back into the changeroom after hockey, and while the other coach was talking he looked down and his hands were beginning to turn purple. Soon, it spread to his face and they eventually turned black. One of the parents just happened to be a doctor and inspected him while the ambulance was on its way. He said it was not a heart attack, but it was vascular. My dad took his wife to the hospital and they're running their tests now. Anyone have any clue what's wrong with him?

I don't want to speculate, because I am not a doctor...but doesn't this happen when cells die? Could he have been bitten by a poisonous spider or other insect?
It was not frostbite, but it was his heart medication interfering with his veins. The blood wasn't getting through.
