anyone have a really good meatload recipe? Please help me out here!!

If you can find some Parm Plus(garlic & herb), I have a good one. ;)

1lb ground beef
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup Parm Plus
3/4 cup spaghetti sauce(Even though I usually make my own sauce I use jarred Prego with this, and its pretty good)

Mix all ingredients except 2 Tablespoons Parm Plus, and 1/2 cup of the sauce. Press into loaf pan. Top with remaining sauce and Parm Plus. Bake @375 for 45 minutes.
I usually serve it with Pasta. Its like a great big meatball.

Enjoy! :D

yummy!! Thanks!! Now, where do i found ParmPlus on such short notice?

LOL! ;)

I know, I cant wait to order it and have that meatloaf again. Thanks again!

I don't have measurments for mine, but this is what I do:

1 pkg of ground turkey
a couple of egg whites
white wine worcester sauce
Bread crumbs (seasoned kind)
frozen chopped spinach (thawed and squeezed to get rid of the water)
garlic powder
ketsup
mustard

Put it all ina bowl and get my hands dirty mixing it up. Then I plop it onto a baking sheet or into a load pan and bake it. The spinach adds moisture. I bake it at 350 for 50 minutes or so.

Even the kids will eat it!

I don't measure either, but this is what I do:

~2 lbs ground beef (85% lean or better)
2 eggs (I use the whole egg)
ketchup and/or BBQ sauce
~1-2 Tbl Worcestershire sauce
~1-2 Tbl A-1 sauce
1 tsp beef bouillon (dry/granules)
parsley,\
garlic powder
Then any or all of the following:
cardamom, coriander, ginger, cumin, turmeric
This will be very sloppy. I use Progresso's Italian bread crumbs to hold it together. The amount varies depending on how much "wet stuff" I've put into it.

Believe it or not, I use the McCormick brand meatloaf seasoning that comes in a packet at the grocery store!

You use 2 lb. ground beef, the seasoning packet, eggs (2, I think) and crumbled bread (2 slices) and 1/2 cup milk. It makes the most awesome meatloaf! I have served it for guests and gotten great reviews on it!

(It's also very easy ;) )

but it's the basic

ground round
egg
salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, worchesire sauce and or any seasoning you like
bread crumbs

mix this all together and then roll between two sheets of wax paper. While this is happening, fry up some bacon until crispy.

Place the bacon and some of your fav cheese on the mixed ground round and roll. Place into a loaf pan and top with Ketchup. Bake at 350 for about an hour until done to your liking!

Enjoy!

thanks guys!!! All these sound so...good!!!

Here's what i ended up doing (i needed a recipe right away)

2 onions
2 carrots
2 stalks celery
3 mushrooms
1/2 red bell pepper

all of the above ground up in the food processor
then i added the meat
1 egg
1 cup of fresh bread crumbs mixed with 2 tblsp. milk
thyme, sage, parsley (all dried to taste)
salt and pepper

I mixed it all and put them into a cupcake pan and brushed the tops with a mixture of ketchup and red wine vinegar.

It was really, really, really good!!!

I think i'm going to one of your recipes per week!! :teeth:
I love meatloaf!!

Even though you already made your recipe, this is my favorite!:

2 lbs ground beef
I lipton soup onion packet
1/3 cup ketchup
3/4 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs
3/4 cup of water

I think that's it---the recipe is always included in the Lipton soup package...it's yummy. Even my husband eats it and he used to be very anti-meatloaf.

Here's another "late entry" ;) Maybe some other time.
It is my family's favorite!
