Meat and potatoes...

Chefs of France has a good fillet & it's only 1 dining credit. Might he like ESPN? They have a varied menu, but great wings, burgers, a Philly cheesesteak & a surf & turf. Plus sports on big screen tvs. Might be a nice break for him.

I'm not much help for breakfast as we usually eat breakfast on the go except departure morning when we typically do a buffet. However, I would second (tenth? lol) a vote for Liberty Tree Tavern. DELICIOUS comfort food served family style so you have the "perk" of a buffet but the convenience of staying seated. We've never tried 50's Prime Time but have always heard great things. Be Our Guest also has some more "traditional" offerings with just a touch of "fancy". Garden Grill is also a good option.

The garden grill breakfast is delicious! Best character breakfast we have ate at Disney.

If you think he will enjoy the Ohana supper you have picked , what about Teppan Edo?
Their steak & chicken is wonderful. Not quite a basic meal but we don't like out there stuff & we love it here.

Most of our favorite meat & tater places are 2 credits : LeCellier, Jiko & Artist Point.

I still have a while to plan, but I want to get the ball rolling on this, because it might take a while. :)

We are taking my parents back to Disney World next fall. They love WDW and have been before, but this will be their first time in 14 years and their first with their grandchildren! We convinced them to do the dining plan. (My dad has always been the type to obsess over every nickel and dime of the food budget, although he loves a good meal, so just the freedom to choose whatever he wants and have it already taken care of is great for them. And I can't tell you how excited my mom is.)

We're going for six nights. Each of us is going to chose a table-service restaurant. My husband and I and my elder son have already selected ours. (Ohana, Cape May, Chef Mickey.) Younger kid is going back and forth between Sci-Fi Dine-In and Coral Reef. My mom is contemplating Be Our Guest and Grand Floridian Cafe.

And then there's my dad.

He's a real meat-and-potatoes kind of guy. (He also loves breakfast.) Not a huge fan of anything...exotic, which is very broad by his standards. (He did not care for Boma 14 years ago...) I'm trying to think of a few places to give him to look at because if I just turn him loose on the dining websites, he'll be overwhelmed.

The one place I have on the list right now is the Garden Grill breakfast. (We've never been there before, so that would be nice.) Any other suggestions for either a great table-service breakfast or a good but very...ordinary... table-service meal?

Trails End breakfast or dinner! Yum!

50s PT my Dad loved it the first time we took him there.
YSH - good steak dinner
Trails End
LTT - I only suggest lunch
