We are staying at POFQ in April and are interested in spending one day at Universal. Can someone please tell me how Mears transporation works? Will they pick us up at POFQ to go to Universal? About how much does it cost? How does pick up work?

We stayed at WL and I know some people reserved the shuttle ahead of time -- think it was $19 per person round trip; however, DH wanted flexibility, didn't want to make several stops on the way back. So we grabbed a cab (also mears) right away in the morning. Then when we left Universal, we just went to the cab area and hopped a cab back. I believe it was about $80 RT

I've used the Mears shuttle to US/IoA three times now.....worked out very well. In Dec, we chose a pickup time of 7:25...earliest of the day. That got us to US/IoA at about 8:05. We needed to check into RPR before heading to the parks which is why we got there so early. We called them the day before we wanted to go, paid for it with a credit card...$19 pp, r/t. We chose our pickup time then. We were asked if we wanted to book our return time at this time. We decided to wait until we were ready to leave US/IoA. When you do it this way, you call Mears about 2 hrs before you're ready to leave. I believe 3pm is the earliest time. They will tell you what time to be at the bus stop.

It's very easy to do, but it does have to be reserved at least a day in advance. Be sure to bring proof of booking/payment with you if at all possible.
