Mears to Universal??

I found this online wondering if anyone has used it and how well it did or didn't work.

This is for transportation from disney resort to Universal studios.

If the offer refers to Mears shuttle service, I've used it. I took their shuttle from the airport to Universal and it took at least 1 1/2 hours because we drove to several areas of town and stopped at so many hotels along the way. Might not take that long for you, just depends on where the other passengers in the shuttle are going. I didn't purchase a roundtrip because we were changing hotels, so the return was from a different location. I decided not to use Mears for the return trip and took a limo back to the airport instead. I used their shuttle on other trips, as well. Purchased a round trip to a hotel on International Drive which didn't take nearly as long because all the other passengers were dropped off nearby and on our return trip we were the only passengers. I used their shuttle service to get to Disney in the days before ME too. They provide good service, but you may not get to your destination as quickly as you would like. I'm sure they try to load their vans with passengers who are going to the same area, but I guess they also like to have a full load when possible.

Many have used this service. It's worked out pretty well to the best of my knowledge. You have to call them the night before, I believe, and get your pickup time. Then, when you are at Universal, you call them several hours before you are ready to leave and get your pickup time to return to your resort.
It's a pretty decent deal.

That's what I was wondering about. How busy is it a universal if you don't have an express pass? In early Dec?
