The answer to your first question depends a lot on your second one.

I think it is pretty much completely random whether there will be any stops between the airport and ASSports. The best answer I can give you for a time frame is I would ALLOW a travel time between an hour and 1 1/2 hours, but it is possible (though IMO not very likely) to be less.

Don't forget, too, that if you're thinking about times, don't forget about the time to gather your belongings and the time WAITING for the shuttle to leave. Sometimes I've waited as much as an hour for the shuttle to leave the airport once I check in with Mears, even with an advance reservation!

I agree with the above answer. We did Mears as a family our first trip down. It wasn't horrible but getting a towncar was so much better. It is pretty much the smae amount of money and a towncar meets you at the airport, helps with luggage and then it is straight on to your resort in about 30 mins.
If a towncar isn't an option that Mears will do. Just don't be in a big hurry to get there!

I hear ya,
We took the Mears bus on our first trip in 2001. It took forever to get on the bus. I remember waiting a good half hour to 45 min. before we were off. I was just wondering if anyone's takin the shuttle to All Star Resorts. What's the route? Is it a straight shot to them? Thanks

It's unlikely that any of the Mears routes will go directly to your hotel. It all depends on where everyone is going. IF (and I mean IF) everyone happens to be going to the All Stars then it will be a straight through drive. The chances of this happening is pretty slim. It's more likely that you will have to stop at a few (at least) other hotels along the way. This is the way Mears does business and the way they make money. If they waited to fill a bus or van with only people heading to one hotel it can possibly take an hour or two or three.......
If you plan on using Mears you can be pretty certain you will stop at other hotels and there is really no way of knowing how many or how long your trip will be.
