Mears Shuttle to Universal Studios - questions

Hi guys!!

I'm going to WDW next January and I'm staying at the Pop Century. I'm going with 6 friends but even though me and my boyfriend have driving licenses here in Brazil, we can't rent a car in the USA because we're 19. (sad, i know )

We want to spend two days at Universal Studios and Island of Adventure, and from what i read here, our best option is the Mears shuttle. I have a few questions about that:

1) The parks will be closing at 6pm, but we want to spend some time on Universal Citywalk. Any one knows what's the latest return pick up time?

2) Can they pick us up at POP, leave us at Universal and them get us in another place to go back to POP? We'd like to visit Prime Outlets since it's really close to Universal and the park closes so early.

3) We'll be 7 people, is there a better way (cheaper than 7x$18 = $126) for us to get to Universal? Maybe a larger cab, or something like that?

You should be able to get a Mears taxi van at POP. It holds 7 and will cost you about the same as the shuttle. It's around $50 each way.

You can return by calling Mears and have then send another taxi when you want to leave (if there is not one at citywalk already)

Thanks for the reply!! Do I have to schedule the taxi van or is it like a regular taxi that I can just call when I need it?

It is a regular taxi, just its a 8 person van (holds 7 passengers). If there are not any waiting at POP, have a CM at the desk call to have a van dispatched.

Put the phone # (Mears is 407-422-2222) of the company in your phone so you have it if you need to call for a larger vehicle at USO.
