Mears or Uber from SSR to Universal

I have read that the Uber drop off to Universal is farther away. Is Mears closer? Do they cost roughly the same? We are going from SSR to Universal for a few days at Universal parks. Thanks!

The drop-off points are about the same walking distance, and you will clear security in the same place.
