TGIF everyone!

Hey, not sure why I'm celebrating!?! I have to go back to work today plus I have a Rhuemy appointment. No good comes of that. If he breaks out one more needle other than for bloodwork we are gonna have some words!!

We saw "The Day After Tomorrow" yesterday. I give it an 8 on my disaster movie scale of 1-10. That puts it in the Volcano, Dante's Peak area. If you haven't seen it, I encourage it. It was a good movie, not gory, bad words were very mild, no sex other than kissing and it kept my interest the whole time. The effects were awesome!!! It makes you think about global warming although I'm sure this is exaggerated.

So, on to my poll of the day

This question comes from a candy fiasco yesterday going to the movie that I'm sure Matthew will rat me out on

Seems like some candy goes better at the theater so...

I rarely get candy at the movies, but then again, I rarely go to the movies. If I do get candy, it's usually those little butterfingers or something like that.

Anyway, if I can't have my popcorn, I'd settle for Gummi anything ... fish, bears, fruit, stars, worms ...

If I actually went to the movies and if I ate candy at the movies it would be Junior mints.

I voted for Junior Mints. While they arent my favorite of those candies listed in general,when I go to the movies, for some reason I have to have Junior Mints.

Dude!!

You are supposed to skip a couple of meals prior to the movie and get BOTH popcorn and candy!!!

Well, skip the meals and get a second mortgage on the house to pay for the popcorn and candy.. oh and the coke

My 1st choice is popcorn and coke (both large size, please). Oh, and some nachos ...

And some Twizzlers ....

And then off to the closest ER for a stomach pump...

Do you have to buy an extra ticket just to have a place to put all your snacks?

Candy...no candy for me. I like the eat the chocolate covered cookie dough bites at home, but I never get candy at the movie theatre. It's the largest popcorn and sprite for me....sometimes I will get a nacho or one of those icee drinks with popcorn. I have to always have popcorn, I am addicited to popcorn.

Only for the popular movies -- like Day After Tomorrow and Harry Potter!!

Truth be told, I usually get a popcorn and a coke. That's after skipping lunch and often dinner.

Man, if I ate that much junk, I'd be in a diabetic coma before bed!!

Snowcaps! They are a traditional movie theater candy for me. Haven't had them since I was a kid. LOL!
