I choose a snow day, even though we never get them. My other favorite is melted snow. I'm not a big fan of the white stuff.

Wow. Very tough choice.
Had to say actual snow though, because it allows for my other 2 favorites-snow sports (cross country skiing and snowball fights...yes that's a sport ) and, of course, SNOW DAY!
But the actual snow is the best. Of course I haven't driven much in it yet, but for now, it's my favorite.

I love snow! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!
I love walking in it and the crunchy sound it makes. I love just watching it fall. I do agree w/others - once it's "disturbed"/plowed, etc. I lose interest.

Thanks!! I agree...anything is better than shoveling snow. I always got stuck with that job as a kid. I don't remember either of my sisters doing it. My sister would probably tell me that she did shovel snow and I just don't remember.

I voted for actual snow too because if there is snow, it's a guarantee that it is cold outside. I hate the heat!

As Pop Daddy said, the snow looks so beautiful when it still hasn't been stepped on. It's so pretty how it glistens when the sun is shining ~ looks like diamond chips have been sprinkled all over. I also like the quietness that snow brings. (Well, that is until people start firing up their snow blowers! ) Not to mention the rosy red cheeks my kids come in with when they've been out playing in the snow. All those reasons bring me such joy.

The movie "Better off Dead" comes into mind with snow. I always laugh at the scene where (guy who played Booger in R. of Nerds) picks up the snow, snorts it and says something like "This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. My left brain is numb."
