Meals question

I don't understand the meal plan. Is it better for just 2adults and a 3yo?

Better than what? You'll have to decide if it makes sense for your family. We get it because it means we don't have to think about money while we are there since everything is mostly pre-paid.

Also, think about if you are going to do sit-down meals every day or if you are traveling off site. It made sense for our first trip when the kids were small and we did character dining almost every day but not so much now that my 10 year old is considered an adult and we are traveling offsite to legoland for a day. We also have a car and plan on eating in the orlando area.
