Meals/portions large enough to share?

I would like to find out which restaurants serve portions that can be shared by two people. Thanks!

I have found that most portions are very large and be shared. We always share and never have a problem. Some restaurants will even split the meal before they bring it to the table. (Prime Time and Chefs du France did on our last trip).

We've split meals at Teppanyaki, Le Cellier, Artist Point, Beaches and Cream, Concourse Steakhouse, Columbia Harbor House, Rainforest Cafe, Rose and Crown, Flying Fish, Spoodles, Kona Cafe, Brown Derby and the Grand Floridian Cafe.

We've ordered child's portions at 50's Prime Time and Beaches and Cream, and made meals out of appetizers and salads.

It can be done!!!

IMHO I would say that certainly all sit down restaurants and most counter service restaurants serve portions large enough to share.

It does depend on you a little - big eaters may need their own. But we've found pretty much all sit down could be shared - especially if you are lookig forward to splitting dessert as well.

My wife and myself have split meals at many of the restaurants at WDW. By doing this we have room for appetizers & desserts. Most meals at WDW are very big.

Rainforest Cafe has large sandwiches and dh and I shared one. We got a salad with it (for me) and he ordered fries instead of chips for him. YUM. Even the kiddie meals were large... Save room for dessert!

We also share at counter service places. We'll order 3 meals for the 4 of us to share. I read on another post that they will even sell you the meals without fries. I try to watch the "junk food" level on our trips as no one is happy when they have a tummy ache! I also learned here that children can order kids'menu items at many buffet places. This helped at 'Ohana where my kids would eat NOTHING.
