I have never heard of a meal with the TS characters, but we have a trip planned for DS's 5th bday in June:goodvibes and he wants to celebrate with Woody and Buzz... I have ADR at Chef Mickey's, we have celebrated our other DS's bdays there in the past, but want to make sure they have not added a Toy Story character meal. With all of the popularity of these characters/movies, I am surprised they haven't. There are so many princess opportunities, it would be nice to have a "boy-themed" character experience.

No such luck for boys. They currently have girls focused meals with CRT and Princess Storybook Dining, but all other character meals have both boy/girl appeal. It also must be that Pixar Characters have a different arrangement with Disney, because you don't see any Pixar charaters at meals, when I am sure they would be immensely pouplar.

Ours boys are Ga-Ga for Toy Story ( and I can't lie, I love it too )

The only thing that will come close, would be Pizza Planet, only because it's the scene setting. I've never been there, but we are adding it as a CS

Disney must be either as blind as a bat or legally hamstrung to not have a Toy Story or Pixar Character meal Venue. :confused3

i'm betting on the latter. There is simply no way that they are missing this opportunity due to sheer ignorance.

No. They have not added any meal with Toy Story characters.

Toy Story Pizza Planet at DHS does not resemble the Pizza Planet in the movie. They serve pizza and there is an arcade attached but the resemblance ends there. Toy Story characters do decorate the exterior.

No meals, but you can meet Buzz and Woody in HS across from Toy Story Midway Mania. My husband and I waited in line to meet them - the only ones there without kids! lol

I agree, NOT enough character meals for boys. There are alot of girls who love Toy Story also. My so is now 15. Our first trip with hin in 2000 he met Woody and Buzz but no character meal.. Ican't understand why this has not been offered as a character meal.

It really is too bad, my boys would go nuts! I have to agree that there must be some reason they can't because I'm pretty sure it would be packed out. It would be so easy to give it both girl/boy appeal by having Jessie too.

Heck, I am an adult and would love to have a character meal with Woody and Buzz.

It cannot be a legal/contract issue since Disney is 100% owner of Pixar. Now in the old days (a couple of years ago) that might have been the case.

It seems that they are fairly slow at changing character meals.

I think it could rival CRT for popularity.

The character meal at Hollywood & Vine is the only one with openings for our trip & Toy Story wouls be a great fit for DHS.

As a mother of 3 boys I would love to see something more for the boys. Especially something like Cars Land that DisneyLand is doing.

I agree there needs to be a more "male" oriented character meal. One that rivals CRT - but preferably not as expensive or two table credits if on DDP;)

As a mother of 2 GIRLS I would love a toy story character meal! My girls love it! The older daughter's favorite character is Rex :p

I know this has been mentioned a gazillion times so there must be some reason Disney hasn't jumped on this, so I too think it is either a legal issue (as I think it previously was) or some sort of logistics but it's Disney I'm sure they could figure that out. I'm sure it would be hugely popular (just look at the TSM ride).

I do agree it's 1,000x easier for girls to find special things to do at Disney World than boys. I mean how many princess meals do they have? Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner at both CRT and Storybook, then dinner at 1900 Park Fare...then there is the Disney Princess Tea & Me and BBB.

The boys get the not geared toward either ones of Mickey & gang, Pooh bear and I do think they have the Pirate League thing now. I think there is the Pirate boat thing too right?

That's about it. Unless there is more that I'm not aware of (quite possible).

It doesn't even need to be a Pixar meal. I'm going to WDW in Sept. and I... I mean my son... would love to go to a meal with Alladin, Tarzan, Beast, Peter Pan etc. I'm sure Disney wouldn't have their hands tied legally to do that.

They don't have a Toy Story character meal BUT Hollywood and Vine would be perfect for that as Toy Mania over in HS there now:thumbsup2 Handy Mandy has done it's time (or lets hope so shortly) food is good there however.:surfweb:
