Meal Vouchers?

Vouchers from where? For what? Other than a special group/convention etc I have never heard of them

My nephew's band got meal vouchers when they went on a Music trip a couple years ago. But otherwise I don’t know any way to get them.

Are meal vouchers still available? Not the dining plan but actual vouchers per meal?

These were awesome back in the day. Great deal and valid at b&c

The only mention I’ve seen in years is just recently. Offered as part of a band trip. I haven’t heard of them for sale though

OK. So, they do still have them for groups. Many, many years ago, you could purchase them on the secondary market and they were a great deal!

They were. I would buy them every trip. My parents would share one at b&c. Best deal around for $12

We got some vouchers gifted to us for our upcoming xmas trip to WDW. Looking to max use these for the family. Please excuse my ignorance -- B+C? What are best values for our week there?

Beaches and cream

I don’t believe your vouchers are valid there

The dining card is not a meal voucher. The dining card is a flat $$$ amount on a card that can be used for qs meals and snacks. Unlike the dining plan, the dining card deducts the actual cost of the meal vs removing a meal credit

The vouchers of old were good for a cs meal that somehow included b&c. It was an awesome value. You could find deals for $12 each and get a meal/combo, beverage and dessert! A very awesome deal at b&c. The beverage could be a shake too.

The meal vouchers available now are typically only sold to groups. Valid only at qs locations for a qs meal and beverage, no alcohol option. I have no idea what they cost today.

They are available to groups, $16 each for a lunch or dinner without a dessert, or $20 with a dessert. It consists of a quick-service meal and a drink, but we weren't able to upgrade the drink to a special one like a milkshake. You can buy as many as you want of each type, including a breakfast option. You can only use them at certain QS restaurants throughout the parks/resorts.

I believe you can purchase them through the disney youth ticket site even if you're not a youth group, but you will have to go through the steps as though you are purchasing tickets for a field trip or Y.E.S. session. When it takes you to the purchase tickets page, skip the tickets and click on the tab above that says "extras". You can put the vouchers in your cart and purchase them that way. One of the group titles is "household", so I think it's possible to buy them without being an official group.

Not sure how much money they save, honestly. It seems to cost about equal to what it would cost OOP. Like the DDP, it's more about convenience of providing students with rationed food, lol. When we take our school trip in March we are opting to buy the dine cards instead (they are like gift cards that can only be used on food, but much more variety than the vouchers).
