Meal tickets

I have seen them mentiond but am curious about them Are they a good deal? Do the meals fill you up or are they like a hotdog and water? How much are they and can you get them at every park?

I know thats a lot of questions but you guys seem to know your stuff and I thought you would be up for the challenge

Are you talking about the meal coupons (can' think of the official name right now) that are sold at Animal Kingdom?

If so, they include a complete meal and drink at the time you place your order. Then you'll get two coupons that you can use later. One coupon is used for a drink (water or soda) and the other can be used for ice cream or popcorn.

If you buy the adult coupon, you can order anything on the menu. The child's coupon can only be used for kid’s meals. You can't exchange any of the items on the kid’s meal.

We used the coupons twice during out last trip. Once at Flame Tree BBQ and once at Restaurantosaurus. At Flame Tree I tried to exchange my son's chips for corn on the cob. The CM said it wasn't allowed.

Animal Kingdom has had this program for a while now. I wish they would extend it to the other parks. I think it's a great deal.

I just checked my receipts. The adult coupon was $12.22,including tax. I can’t find the receipts for the kid’s coupons.
