We have booked the plus half board I see that cafe mickey has characters Does that mean if we eat there we will see the characters Is that what people refer to as a character meal ? Or something different ?
Not long till our trip now so getting very excited Ad it's our first time I'm still getting my head around it

yes, you will see the characters at Cafe Mickey on your half board plus vouchers. The characters come around each table at Cafe Mickey, to interact and take photos etc with each family.

No, so long as you eat off the set menu then you won't have to pay any extra. If you don't like the choices on the set menu you can order something else and your vouchers will then be taken at face value.

The characters are there approx 12-3pm and 6-10pm so book your meal for within these times.

We went half board plus on our trip in march, and for both nights (1st and3rd as 2nd night was buffalo bill) we reserved table at cafe mickey. The BEST thing we have done. First night we reserved for 6.15 , fantastic, loads of character interaction, we also really enjoyed the food. Did a straight exchange for vouchers. The next time we went there it was 9.15, still good but nowhere near as good as the 6.15 sitting. My daughter absolutely loved it in there and was beside herself with excitement, got some great photos and autographs in there. Was def one of the highlights of our trip.
