Meal plans--can you add after booking?

I booked the hotel but not the meal plan. I'm still not sure what we plan to do foodwise, so we didn't choose a meal plan. We're not going until October 30.

Is it possible to add a meal plan if we decide we want one or is it too late?

We didn't like feeling tied to the dining reservations when we went to WDW last summer. In fact, I must have changed half of our reservations while we were there. DH doesn't want to feel tied to reservations again, but I think maybe we should book a couple of meals.

you can reserve tables at restaurants at DLP without being on any kind of meal plan. Apart for the cost of one phone call to the Disney Dining reservations line, this is a completely free service.

But yes, if you're sure a meal plan is the way to go for you at DLP, you can add it to your Disney hotel booking when you like, up to about a week before your check-in date.
