I was just wondering....can an adult eat from the children's buffet section and the adult section at places?

At buffets, anyone can eat from anywhere on the buffet stations.

I often enjoy a good chicken tender or 2 while dining at WDW.

That is what makes the buffets such good choice. It offers adults some bland children's foods and lets the kids sample adult dishes. Just good all the way around.

Yes, and vice-versa. A "children's station" at a buffet is just a selection of food more likely to appeal to the generic kid's tastes. Some kids will prefer some or all the "adult" food, and some adults will prefer some or all of the "kid's" food.
