Hi everyone, I am going to Disney in April, and am looking into the meal plan in Disney, it is around $38.00 p/day. Has anyone ever used this before? What are the positives and negatives to this plan?

My Wife and I just got back yesterday and used the meal plan all week. We loved it and think it was the best decision we made for the trip. Just remember that it is a lot of food. We never ate breakfast the whole time we were there because we were still full from the previous day.

I think the meal plan is $39/day for adults & $11/day for kids. We have used this & I loved not having to worry about how much we were spending on food. You do get alot of food. Everyone gets a appetizer, entree & dessert. DH & I would split a meal alot, so we could get two TS's in each day. You get 1 ts, 1 cs, & 1 snack for each day. We mostly like to eat TS, so I wasted some of the CS meals. Also, alcohol is not included, so if you like to have a drink with dinner you will have to pay out of pocket. The tip & taxes are even included in the $39/day.

The meal plan is great... I love to be able to just go and not have to worry about anything. Of course haven't been able to use it lately due to having AP's. But would definatly recomend it.

I just got back too...was at the World from the 10th-13th, and the plan for FOR SURE worth it. We did a signature meal (Narcoossee's) and a buffet and those things alone paid for the whole thing. It's $37.99 per day per person and that includes tips. CS options are A LOT of food too, so you might even be able to share 1 CS if you don't have a huge appetite.
