meal plan question

I have 2 rooms reserved for a trip in June. Can I get the meal plan for just one of the rooms? We are taking friends and I know they want the MP but we will just cook in the room so it's not worth it to us. It will make planning easier if we can get the MP for just the 3 occupants of the one room and not the other! TIA!

I didn't think that they checked actual guests vs. who is getting the meal - ie, a person could go up to a CS and order 3 meals and have them all deducted from their room's meal plan. And the same for TS.

Granted - we haven't done the meal plan since 2006 so maybe id's are checked now. I was thinking about a DDP for one of the rooms for our next trip and guess I need to update on the in's and out's of it.

Or maybe it's just that each guest doesn't have to use every meal - it's a pool of meals for all in the room if it turns out that way.

All Guests in the room will have a key card with the meal plan credits on it. They can actually separate into different parks and eat. We have done this when using a Two bedroom taking 8 people. We have never had two studios with one on the meal plan and one without. Just saying...

If there are two adults on the plan, for instance, they can buy two adult meals per transaction and pay with the plan, they can't buy meals for the whole party. The number of persons on the plan is written on the key card.

Yes, we have done this. We recently had a 2br and a 1br at the BCVs and the 2br had the DP and the 1br did not. Worked beautifully.
