I was wondering what sort of discounts one gets on meals/restaurants with the AP card and or the Disney Dining card.

I can't find any real thorough info on this. The Disney website is very vague on this. If I remember correctly one list I saw said most TS discounts were only for lunch. Some places were for dinner.

Is there a place where I can find the full benefits of the AP card and the Disney Dining card? And a full list of restaurants? Again-I thought the Disney website was vague and just sort of offered an overview and not a full list of all the benefits.

Thanks!
Ruth

Check here--some more specific info. Also check Mousesavers.com :)

I've had the card for a year, and can tell you that I've used it at mostly all sit-down restaurants. Roaring Forks at WL will not take it, and some other counter service places, but you will get 20% off your meal. The card paid for itself after a few uses.

The dining discounts for the AP itself are rather limited.

But the DDE is good for 20% off at almost any Table Service restaurant that is Disney owned and operated even Vistoria & Alberts.

It is not good at any counter service restaurants in the parks with the exception of those at AK (since there are no table service restaurants in that park).

It is also not good at counter service restaurants in the deluxe hotels or the moderates with a full service option.

In 2005, it was good at counter service in the value resorts and POFQ but some have posted that that is not true in 2006. Sorry don't know. :confused3

It is also good at the lounges in the resorts.

It is great savings if you do a lot of TS restaurants as we do.

Thanks everyone for the info. That was very helpful.

We don't have an AP yet, are waiting to see if there are May codes. But if we get the AP I was thinking of getting the dining card as well. We'll be doing 7 TS meals, so I think it will be worth it.

Anything over at total of $300 in TS (and limited counter services that are available) will yield you savings over the initial price of the card.

With family of 10 last May 5 days, we saved over $600 with the DDE card.
