Has anyone used the meal and movie pass coupon from the 2006 entertainment book. They can be used at 6 restaurants listed and have a limited menu. You also get a movie ticket. This seems too good to be true, esp for a family of four. If I have four of these tickets, can we use them all at once. Also, how limited are the choices for the menus at these select restaurants when you use these tickets. Thank you.....

I used 8 of the coupons last week, usually 2 at a time. You turn them in to guest services, and they give you tickets or vouchers. They had me fill out my name and address when I cashed them in. You can also get a menu from them with the selections. This is a good idea. I used 2 at hard rock cafe and they seemed confused and didnt give me a separate menu, just kind of pointed to things on the menu. I also used them at margaritaville and at pastamore, who did give me separate menus. It was a breeze. I always ordered additional items, (we had 5 people) appetizers and drinks or desserts, so I always had a bill of some sort.

I used one of these earlier this year, if I remember correctly there was a guest services booth which contains all the menus for the restaurants and lists what the choices are on the limited menus... and they are VERY limited (3 or 4 choices per restaurant). But yes, you get a free meal and a free movie, it is very easy and a great deal!!

The choices are limited, but they don't give you bad choices, you just can't order the most expensive thing on the regular menu.

We utilized them last week as well. You can't redeem your coupon until after 1pm at the Citywalk Guest Services booth. Also, a lot of the restaurants that you choose from don't start serving until 4pm. Also, at Pastamore, we tried to use one late at night to take out. The sit down side said that we couldn't order out, and the take out side had a much more limited menu to choose from. I had gather quite a few coupons (we had a total of 13 with us) and we used them all during the week. So, we got to know the workings of them quite well.

We had seven of them. I redeemed four (they said that was the limit per person) and my husband redeemed three. I guess if we had more we would have just gone back to guest services another time.

Just a note: we redeemed them on Fri night so we had everything in order, we asked if we had to use that night. We were told : no, they are good until 2030!!! I don't know for sure if that is true, as I haven't heard it from anyone else. That is what they told us at guest services I thought I misunderstood her--but my husband confirmed that I heard right.

So if you end up with extra, don't throw them out!

Can I ask how some of you got multiple coupons?

I put up a sign at work to see if anyone had any they weren't using from their entertainment books. I got enough for my family to go out one evening for dinner and a movie. I'll be using them next week.

Thanks for all the replies. I did the same thing looking for extra coupons at work, so we have enough to use them twice.

I was hoping to use them for lunch. Do you know which restaurant will accept them for lunch?

I used some at margaritaville for lunch. I redeemed the coupons the day before, you dont have to use them the same day.

Thanks for all the great info.
Only 10 days left! Another July 4th at the RPH. We're trying Club for the first time. I can't wait.

I am in need of 3 more meal/movie passes for my trip July 16-23. Is anyone willing to share? maybe we could work something out?!? ;)

Thanks

We went last month and used what I had and was able to get from friends and family. We turned in 7 at once and had no problems at all but we did have to write our name and address down on a piece of paper. We were at USO & IOA for 6 days and used them over the course of the whole trip. Our favorite place to eat was Margarittaville with the erupting volcano of margaritas. They had the most wonderful Chicken Caesar salad I ever had! We enjoyed seeing Over the Hedge for free. It was a cute movie and since it was free we splurged on popcorn and soda (we never buy it normally).

Just a note, when we turned ours in, the woman at customer service reminded us, that TAX AND TIP ARE INCLUDED!!!! You do not even tip on this!!! What a great deal!!! :woohoo:

Can anyone tell me when these coupons expire? And are they only in the Orlando book or all entertainment books? Thanks all.

They are in all the ent. books nationwide. The coupons expire on 12/31/06. HTH! :)

Seems too good to be true - a free movie and a free meal. Note that you complete your name and address for this - is there any clause which states that it's only available to US residents? Also how many coupons does the Orlando book contain?

Also a general question regarding the Entertainment book - are there any coupons for restaurants within walking distance of Wet n Wild (this is the only time we are venturing 'off site')
