Meadows Pool

I hear that the main pool at the campground gets crowded in summer. Is there a shaded grassy area surrounding the pool where I would be able to set up my own beach chair. We are adults with no children and would like to be able to hang out near the pool deck for a brief dip but away from the crowds if possible. Thanks.

Yes, there is a grassy shaded area on one side of the pool - behind the water slide. It is still pretty crowded during the summer season, but I am sure you can find a nice place to sit.

You may like the "cabin pool" better. Give it a try.

I like to relax on the beach, but you can't take a dip there.

That's the best arrangement if you want an occasional "dip" in the water but want to lounge in the shade otherwise.

I would go for the main pool, cause I like the water slide,,but then again I'm only 10 in Disney years.

Born to fish, you are too funny! Thanks for all the replies. I have been to the fort before and know about the cabin pool. I want to be at the main pool but was hoping to sit on the grass under a tree. Do you know if they allow you to bring your own beach chair in case it is crowded and there are no available chairs? Thanks.

Yes, I've seen lots of people with their own chairs under the trees. I don't think I've ever seen someone put their own chair on the deck, but certainly under the shade.
