Sounds like fun!! I enjoy checking out the middlesex county fair in august. Never been to that one though. Have a good time!

Haven't been to the Meadowlands fair, but it looks like fun. We spend our time (and money!) at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show (also now called the NJ State Fair). The only thing you can get for $1 there are the good food deals at the Boy Scout building!

Okay we never realized there was a Boy Scout Building. Every time we've gone to the Sussex County Fair it's been so crowded that you couldn't walk. We end up going to the Chatterbox for something to eat. That place is great. Love the 50's themeing. The night we were there they had all the old cars in the parking lot.

The last time I went, one of the bolts came off the car on the spinning ride I was on. I was terrified. And then we went on another ride where some drunk kid puked all over me. Now I have no desire to go back. I just don't think the rides are very safe.

That's awful! I worried about that all the time when my kids were doing rides. They've decided the rides are much too expensive now (phew!)

WhoopyPie ~ we live about 4 miles from Chatterbox and it's one of our favorite places to eat! The guy who bought it from the previous owner (Sonny's Drive-In) has done a wonderful job. The food is excellent, the price is reasonable and it is a very cool place. And it is fun on Saturday nights to wander among all the old cars (never thought a Plymouth Duster would be cool!)
