Tipping is not required, but generally speaking if someone is handling your bag directly, you'd tip them. In the case of ME if you collect your own luggage and the driver helps load your luggage (or even just your carry-on) it would be customary to tip them.

Our family of 3 tips $10 each way....it's a free transfer that would cost us about $80 or so bucks if we had to book it privately.....call it karma, or whatever. To us, as previously tipped employees, it's not that big of a deal (to tip, regardless of if the driver touched our bags)...You'll get about 1,000 different opinions of when to/if I should/how much......

The bus drivers are making more than minumum wage...it is not the same as waitressess and others that depends on getting tips. Tipping a DME bus driver is never mandatory.
I was just in WDW...I had no bags to store under the bus. But, my driver was very personable and helpful. He made the ride very pleasant....so I was ready to hand over a few dollars when we got to our resort. But, then he went and did the one thing I hate....he mentioned that gratuities are gratefully accepted. There is signage on the bus that tells me this...I do NOT want a driver to tell me as well. I think that's rude. So, my $3 went back into my pocket.
When I do tip, it's usually about $2 per bag.

Yeah - we got that too. It really irked me - mainly because he got our bags out at the first airport stop, when we told him which airline we were going to, which was the second stop. Tip? I don't think so!
