Hi!

Just wondering, where do the ME buses drop you when you arrive back at the airport?

I am flying with British Airways - airside 4, Terminal B.

Do they have more than 1 drop-off point?

For our return trip to the Airport they made 2 stops. The A side and the B side.

We're just back and used Magical Express. Our driver made two stops...one at Terminal A and one at B. I believe there is only one drop-off point for each terminal. We had to walk a LONG way to get to the Southwest counter. Hopefully, you will have a much shorter walk!

Otherwise, the service was great. We especially loved the price! ;)

We were arriving EARLY - 3:45 a.m., but the driver dropped us off at the American Airlines area and continued on with another family to the Air Tran area...both in Terminal A, I think, but he didn't make us all get off at one spot.

We would like to drop off in the middle. But on A side this has been next to impossible until this week. So the tendency has been to "go to the first available legal space", if we don't take it, making a circle might result delaying everyone onboard. So that accounts for the long walk for SW folks.

This week LYNX, the Orlando Transit Bus System moved to B side, which is much less congested, opening up several spaces on A middle. So, the long walks should be eliminated for the most part.

I was dropped off at Delta, my returning flight. I figured they they dropped everyone off at their designated airlines. Am I wrong?

Just used ME this past week. We were dropped off at Terminal A for Southwest but on the RENTAL CAR LEVEL. No one was dropped off at the departing flights level. We had to take our luggage all the way up to the Southwest counter as did the AirTran passengers. The Southwest check-in line inside was outrageously long so I checked in with the skycaps outside. The line there was much shorter and moved faster.
We were picked up at the AKL at 12:15 for a 3:00 departure. Made three stops at All Star. Got to MCO at 1:20. Bus driver took I-4 to the Beeline (I-4 was jammed of course). Took 10-15 minutes to unload and get to Southwest, another 20 minutes to check-in. By now it was 1:55 and we still had to clear security which was taking about 15-20 minutes. Finally got to the gate around 2:25 for a 3:00 flight.
For anyone who has to take their luggage on the bus, I would suggest leaving for the airport 3 hours before your flight. We were assigned a departure time by ME that was 2 hours and 45 minutes before our flight. With everything that happened, we got to the gate with about 20 minutes to spare before they started loading the plane.

Does anyone know which terminal Independence Air is in? I am only familiar with the location of Southwest, where is Independence in relation to Southwest? Thanks.

You cannot use curb-side check in with the ME?

Yes you can, jiminy14 did:

Does anyone know where they will drop you off if you are flying airtran?
My mother-in-law will be leaving several days before us and will be using the Magical Express to go back to the airport on her own. She has only flown once or twice several years ago (never by herself)She will not have luggage to check. We are driving home and we can take her luggage for her. Can someone walk me through the steps she will have to take? If we let the ME driver know she might have some problems could he help direct her once she arrives at the airport? Should she just take a taxi or town car service? Help

The bigger busses are not allowed on the top level of the airport.... That's it, can't do it.

DME and all motorcoaches over over a certain weight must drop off on level one (1). With a variety of airlines on board, we drop as close to the middle as possible, so no one has a major walk. Multiple drops are not efficient and will actually delay you, rather than expedite the process.

Check in is at level 3. Once you get to level 3, you can go outside to use curbside check in if you wish.

Airtran is the A side of the terminal.

In several instances, I've had all American and Continental for A-side. Since I Know where their check in is I would drop at that point. But SW and American are at opposite ends of A side, so the middle is best for that case.

Independence is A side for departures.

I just returned from using ME on 5/31. We were dropped off at the same spot where we were picked up. At the Mears bus drop off pickup spot. This was about 4pm. The place was packed with people waiting. Glad when we went it was 5/25 waited only about 15 min for the bus waited about 5 min in line inside then 10 min on the bus.

All in all we had a great experience, both on the trip down and back.

PS the movies are actually just ME and disney promos no actual movies.:(
