ME when doing a combined trip of on and offsite

So we are planning a trip down where we stay a few nights on property then move offsite to a timeshare. If we book a package, does Disney care if you take ME a few days after you officially check out? Has anyone else done this? Suggestions or tips? Thanks!!

You will not be able to use ME to RETURN to the airport after your departure date from your Walt Disney World resort hotel. They're actually quite strict about it.

I had a checkout of May 28, but our flight was at 7AM on May 29, after EMH at MK until 3 AM. I had to make 7 calls to DME to get them to allow me to take the bus back to the airport on the 29th, and the only reason they finally let it happen was because I was boarding the DME 1 hour after my park tickets were officially invalid.
