ME - When do I receive info in mail?

Unfortunately, my mail service can be pretty bad and I want to know when should I be expecting my luggage tags and magical express info.

Does anyone have an idea?

about 6 weeks prior to check-in. if you went through a TA (anyone besides Disney directly), it will be sent to them.

I have received it anywhere from 2 to 7 weeks ahead, not counting the first time when I never got it at all (the first few weeks it was up and running). But even that time all when smoothly.

I have gotten mine the day before (back when they first started), two weeks before and then for my trip in Oct, I got my packet about 3 weeks ahead of time.

I called SW Vacations Saturday and they said "nothing has been printed yet." Whatever that means. Since we leave in four weeks, I am wondering what we will do about DME if we don't receive our tags.

They have a system in place. Skip baggage claim and go to the DME Welcome Center, asme as you'd do if you had tags on your bags. They will ask if you tagged your bags. Since you didn't, they will ask for your baggage claim ticket numbers as well as a physical description of each bag. They'll dispatch a CM to claim your bags at baggage claim for you, and then bring them back behind-the-scenes with the rest of the DME luggage to be delivered to the resorts.

The DME Welcome Center will also give you bus vouchers when you check in there.

MADE MY DME ressies on March 19 and got them March 23 . pretty quick

About 4 weeks for us usually!!

although if that's a package in 44 days, i'm going to bet that if it's coming, it'll show up in 5 days or so (assuming you didn't go through a TA).

they've progressively pushed it back to latest reports having it at 6 weeks. obviously if you book with less than 6 weeks notice, it'll be sooner.
