ME Welcoming Center "A" side ? So if arriving "A" side.....?

So I am just trying to picture what we need to do when we arrive......

We are flying Continental....and it is always gates 1-29 on the "A" side.
Our baggage claim is 2nd level "A" side.......
then the ME welcoming center is Lower level "A" side.....

So that means we can get off the plane....head to baggage claim......
then right on down to the lower level for the ME welcoming center??

Is the Welcoming center near the rental car counters???

If that's the case....then I am totally cool with grabbing our luggage myself.

The main terminal is a rectangle with one long side A and the other long side B.

If I remember correctly, the ME welcoming area is nearer the gates numbered 50 to 90 or so, or near the Hyatt Hotel end.

The lower level runs the full length of the terminal.

Gates 50 - 90 are on the B side.
and I am not sure where the Hyatt is.

The ME center actually took over one of the car rental counters. You'll wait in line there to check in and then walk across to the resort lines which are by the door to go outside.

That sounds great.....
So for us...it is no more, no less time, if we were to just grab our luggage and get a rental car.

When you get to the lower level, just ask which direction "A" high is?
