We'll be arriving at MCO at 11:30 pm. Can anyone give me insight on ME that late at night? What's the average time to arrive at Disney (OKW) that late? Do you think we'll be sitting on the bus very long waiting for departure?? I'm assuming our luggage won't be delivered to us until the next morning...??

Any information would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks! :)

My flight landed around 10:00 p.m., and we had speedy service. Even with a 15-minute wait on the bus before we left, it was 56 minutes from landing to resort drop-off. We were at POFQ, just down the road from OKW.

Luggage. They will deliver it in the middle of the night unless you request otherwise. Rather, they'll likely give you a call in the middle of the night and ask if you want it now or in the morning.

It sounds like you're prepared to pack a carry-on with your immediate needs, which is a great idea whether you use DME or not.

I don't think the wait will be that much more.

But if you don't want your bags delivered (that could be 1am -3 am) then request that at baggage when you arrive at OKW.

I have heard different things here on the DIS that some have had the knock at the door that early and others that waited until the next morning through request.

Since I want to have my bags with me for night time, we do not put the yellow ME tags on them and pick them up ourselves at baggage claim. It does add time, but personally I like it better. Then we roll our bags over to the ME counter and check in. You bring your bags to the side of the bus and the bus driver puts them in the luggage compartment. We usually tip $1-$2 per bag.
We have sometimes have had a wait on the bus before departure, but not more than 15 minutes, and sometimes the bus stops at a few resorts before ours.
Overall, the cost savings is significant. If you take a Mears shuttle from the airport, you still often have more than one stop.
We took a taxi to BCV's and it was about $70 w/tip, but it was super fast. We have also taken town cars, but I think that was around $100. Quiet comfort though...

Good luck!
