ME using AAA travel agent

Just curious does Disney send the tags to AAA and then they send to me or does disney send directly to me? I've only used ME when I booked directly through Disney and want to make sure I get my tags in time. I'm not traveling until Dec but want to be prepared! Thanks !

Your info packet will be sent to your travel agent. Be prepared to check in with them (AAA). It seems that it's those people that are working with agents that are having the most problem getting their tags. It takes them awhile to figure out what to do with them, and then they have to send them on to the guest. I would call your AAA office/agent and ask them how long after they get the DME packet it will take for you to get it in hand.

My AAA TA told me everything would come to her about 3 weeks ahead of time. She is then going to call me and I will pick-up at the office.

I asked my AAA agent the same thing and was told the final paperwork and my tags for ME would arrive to her no later than 2 weeks prior to the trip. She said she would call me and I would have to go in to pick everything up. Wish I could get them to mail them to me, since the only day I can pick things up there is on a Saturday (their hours are 9a-5p & my work hours are 8a-5p).

My travel agent sent me my package (including ME tags) 2-3 weeks before we left. Just make sure you have an ME reservation-it is done separately from booking your trip and/or airfare.
