I am just going to ask cause I searched and have not found

so here I go:

Does anyone have recent experiecne with ME and getting to Kadani Village?

Is it the 1st stop on the bus 3 or 4th stop, just wondering cause We are traveling with a 3 year old a 7 year old and a 13 month old. Might just take a van taxi!!! WE ARE LEAVING ON AUGUST 27th

WOO HOOO

Have you taken ME before? There is a video that might capture the attention of the young ones.

Our DVC room was in Jambo house in April and we did ME with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. They enjoyed looking out the windows and watching the short WDW info movie they play on the bus, so they weren't overly restless. popcorn:: And trust me....they can certainly be restless travelers! ;) We stopped at one of the All Stars and I believe one other location first (POP I think, but can't remember) before hitting Jambo House. They were heading up the street to Kidani after dropping us off. The drop offs were pretty fast (only a few minutes wait time) and the kids enjoyed people watching while the driver unloaded any bags (there weren't many though as most people let the ME deliver them to their rooms later as we did). I don't know if it's always the same hotel drop offs when going to AKV on ME, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. :thumbsup2

Good luck with your decision and have a magical vacation!

I've taken ME before, like 8 times. We usually stay out our home resort of SSR and it usually is the first stop. Which makes for a short trip after the flight from Newark. I just am worried about the 13month old the others know what to do already.

The taxi might be in for this trip

THANKS

We fly out of NH so I know what you mean about a long flight with restless kids. Have a great trip!!

We have done it twice and it was great. We stopped at Pop 1st and then went straight to Kidani since no one on our bus was going to Jambo. I can't remember how long it took but it couldn't have been too bad or I would remember.

We stayed at Kidani this past April and it was the fourth (last) stop on the trip. It was at least a half hour difference between being the first stop (Pop Century) and the last one. No big deal to us, but we didn't have children.

I had a friend stay with me last summer at Kidani. She came in on another day and made it to Kidani in a little over an hour after landing. I think she said they stopped at CSR & Jambo.

We did it this past May. We were the third stop, first Carribean beach and second Jambo house. I personally thought the stops were quick and didn't feel like we spent forever on the bus....have a great trip!

We stayed in April at Jambo House and they first went to Coronado Springs, somewhere else can't remember, then to Jambo House and then Kidani village.

We fly out of Providence with little ones too but they were fine on the bus. It was me that couldn't wait to get there.:rotfl:

Thanks for all the info, after reading everyones post we decided to go with a car service. we are using FL Tours, $134 round trip for 5 in a van. Just seems that it will be easier this time. We always took a taxi back from the World to the Airport cause of that 3 hour thing with ME it just made the wait for the plane worse then it has to be with the kids. The cab, van usually cost us about $60 including tip so for th extra money and the extra had with the luggage, made alot of sense this time.

CAN"T WAIT AUGUST 27th can't get here soon enough  :hippie:

On our trip to Kidani in April we were the 4th stop on our arrival and the 1st stop on departure. Have a great trip.
