ME tags

I got mine this past Saturday, which was just about 5 1/2 weeks from departure. I was expecting 4 weeks. Not sure if I was told that or just assumed it based on past trips though.
 
My experience has been that I usually receive the tags within a couple of weeks of supplying my flight info to MS. Sometimes I have the tags for several months before my trip.
 
We arrive 4 weeks from this coming saturday and haven't received them yet.

Before we owned DVC we got them usually about 35ish days before our arrival date.

I know M/S has our flight information because I had to call before to update one of our flight numbers.

I just want to be able to stop stalking my mailbox everyday..LOL
And it gets more exciting to know now that your trip is really going to be here soon.
 

We are leaving 4/22 and received our tags last week. My only concern is that they spelt our last nme incorrect. MS said don't worry as long as resort is correct.

Call the above phone number and have ME correct their records.

We call every trip and find that MS passes incorrect info to DME more than they should.

Oh boy!! That's not good!! I'll be calling this morning since we didn't get them yesterday yet either!
 
thought i'd post an update. I called M/S this morning to cancel our waitlist for BCV (I don't feel like waiting until the last minute to know where we'll be and I'm perfectly ok with BWV) and thought I'd check with them about our Magical Express. Which I am very glad I did!! The first set (since we have a split stay) had a note on it that they couldn't send it :confused3 ? And my return package was mailed 3/27 and to the wrong address!!!

I'm so glad I called and had it straightened out!!

So make sure you call and check if you aren't getting your ME packs!
 
I will say it again. MS is just a middle man that often messes things up.

Use the MS on-line form to submit your DME info. 30 days prior to your vacation call DME directly at (866) 599-0951 and review your info with them. 7 times out of 10 the information that DME has had on file for us has had errors or omissions.
 
Hoping someone here can answer my question? :confused3 I'm going to let friends use some points and they want to use the ME. When I make their reservation do I talk to MS about ME? I see a phone number listed here, is that the number to call? Should I call them as the member or have the person who is going call with their air info. Have never used it before, DH and I usually rent a car.

Make the room reservation with MS in your friends name and address. At least 45 days prior to their arrival, make the DME reservation for your friend using the form on the Member website. When you receive the DME emailed conformation from MS, call DME directly at the phone number provided to verify that they have the correct info.

A few weeks ago I made DME reservations for my BIL through MS. Before I could call DME, I received his tags at my address, (he lives 1000 miles away). I called DME who told me that MS had provided incorrect information so we corrected it and they sent BIL additional tags.
