ME tags..when do they come?

Just wondering when the send out the ME tags? We still have a month before we go, but I want to make sure we have them in time and know when I should be on the look out for them! Thanks!

15 to 45 days out is what we have been told. The last few trips when I was paying attention it was 42 and 37 days.

You should receive your DME packet any time now. If it were me, I'd call DME (866-599-0951) at about the 3 week mark, just to make sure everything is OK.

Did you book through a travel agent? If so, then you'll need to go through the TA. If you used a TA, then the DME packet is mailed to the TA's office and not to your home. You then have to arrange with the TA how you will receive the packet from them.

The DME packet is sent separately from your resort/package reservation documents. They come from 2 different places.

Yikes! We leave in 5 days and I do not have any tags. I thought I did receive them, I guess they are not the pretty castle/cloud tags! I'm glad I have this board to inform me!

Yikes again! I just called 1-866-599-0951 to check on why I didn't get my ME stuff. The cm could not pull up my name with my res. #. She was missing both me and DH name! THen she found me and gave me a whole new confirmation number. Then she looked up Magical Express and instead of DH had DM, who is driving in! My fam is flying in and M and D are driving RV to FW. I hope nothing else is messed up....

Anyway, the good news is that although they have that they sent the ME stuff that I did not get, all we have to do is go to the Welcome Center at MCO and give them our baggage claim ticket and Disney will take care of it. We should only have one thing of luggage since M and D already have most of our clothes on RV already.

I'm also leaving Dec 8th. I got my DME tags about two weeks ago and got my other documents yesterday.

When I added my husband to my ME they overnighted Fed X the new tags to me, even though I was not going for about 3 weeks.
If you have only one bag it might be just as easy to get it yourself from baggage claim and bring it with you to ME check in. then bring it on the bus with you.

my fiancee and i leave on 12/14 and received ours yesterday so that's 39 days i think.

We went in September and I waited until 3 weeks before my trip to call to find out the status of my ME tags and Disney said my flight info wasn't even recorded in my ressie! Backing up, I remember being worried when I initially called Disney with my flight info because the CM seemed like a child -- he didn't ask me any questions, just told me to "go ahead" with my flight info. I rattled everything off and I kept saying "do you need to know this" and he'd just quietly say "sure" and I should've known to call right back to check. Anyway, long story short, I gave the new CM my flight info and Disney actually FedEx'd my tags to me and I received them within a few days.

I was wondering the same. Also, will I get a Disney package too? I have rooms booked for All Star Movies and Pop Century. Do I get a package from them too?

LOL, I guess they just want to give me enough chances to misplace them. We're leaving 12/8 and I got mine like in august or something
